As I mentioned in my last post, Mike is heading out this Sunday. However, the girls and I still don't know when we will be going, if at all. It takes a bit of faith that God is in control to not freak out that I am not in control and I will make it to Florida if that is part of the Lord's plan. At this point, we may just wait to see if Mike's contract is extended before making the journey. Unfortunately, that means less play time in Florida for me and the girls, but beggar's can't be chooser's.
In the mean time, it's been life as usual. We celebrated the 4th of July at Del Mar beach at Camp Pendleton! It was spectacular and we are so thankful to our friends the Worley's who invited us. Of course we missed the dear Dobbins, whom we celebrated with last year in the same location. We've been swimming at our local pool as well as The Wave Waterpark. It actually feels like a real summer compared to last year's mild weather. It's a shame to leave this perfect San Diego summer to head to the land of afternoon thunder storms that as my friend Ryan says you can set your watch to. So, I will continue to work on the blog and post bunches of pictures. As I'm sure you will notice, this blog is a work in progress the more blog savvy I get. I hope you enjoy it and once we are on the road I hope to hear from all of you.
